Taxes and Tax Clearance
A company must a have a good corporate standing with tax authorities – ZIMRA. Once your company is registered, Infinity Edge can assist you in getting a Bank Advice Note (tax clearance) for opening a bank account. When the company account is opened, we then register it with ZIMRA for a Business Partner Number (BP Number) and apply for its first tax clearance certificate (ITF263). PRAZ Registration
It is wise for a company to be registered with the Procurement Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe when it wants to bid for government tenders. The advantage of government tenders and request for quotations (RFQs) is that they involve large sums of money and the government usually pays in advance once you win a tender. You cannot tender for contracts in government if you are not registered with this body. Infinity Edge is familiar with all the procedures and processes for a company to get its annual registration and for it to appear in the government gazette with list of approved suppliers. Vendor Number
For a company to be paid by the government or a government department, that company must register with the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning and get a vendor number. When you get the vendor number it means your bank details have been captured in the Ministry of Finance database for payment purposes. When you register with PRAZ it is also prudent for you to register with Ministry of Finance for payment for goods and services supplied to the government.
National Social Security Authority (NSSA)
Every registered company is required by law to register with NSSA for social security purposes. Some tenders now require a NSSA clearance certificate and we advise our clients to register with NSSA as required by law.
